Health Promotion Services

TRS/MWIPM provides Health Education and Risk Reduction educational sessions for returning citizens, including HIV/HCV, STI, Cancer Awareness, and other minority health concerns.

Health Screenings

TRS/MWIPM conducts HIV/HCV screenings for at -risk populations living on the south side or west side of Chicago.

Substance Use Disorder Services

Through a collaborative partnership with the CPD’s Community Policing Program, The Night Ministry, and The Westside Opioid Task Force; TRS/MWIPM has
provided educational resources, and harm reduction strategies, and distributed Naloxone kits to Injection Drug Users.

Behavioral Health Counseling

Through a collaborative partnership with Behavior Interventions, Abraxas Southwood, and Provident Hospital behavioral health services are available using a referral process at no cost to the client.

Harm Reduction

In November of 2020, we became the First Black Woman-led Syringe Access Program (SAP) in Illinois.

HIV/HCV Case Management

Through a collaborative partnership with AIDS Foundation of Chicago, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AC 360, Howard Brown, and Provident Hospital, HIV Medical Case Management / HIV Corrections Case Management, and HCV Behavioral Health Services are provided at no cost to the client, 9 am -3 pm. Monday – Thursday.
